Recycled jewellery projects

Our projects are based in Uganda and South Africa. The goal is to create work and a market that will support both our graduated university students not finding employment and a group of displaced and at-risk women. We have started with vulnerable young ladies assisting in making the jewellery in South Africa and Uganda for a salary.

About 30 vulnerable women make the paper beads for us in Uganda. We meet once a month to discuss new designs, do a Bible study together, time of fellowship. Finished products are handed in and payments are received for work completed.

Up to date 203 items ranging from bracelets to necklaces. We have sent the bulk of items to the States to be sold at jewelry markets and are selling locally in Africa. We have also prepared more leather and paper beads jewelry for local markets here in South Africa and Uganda.
